Wasl Launches New Retail App

Wasl has launched a new Retail App designed to maximise convenience for customers. The real estate company, one of the leading property management organisations in Dubai, has introduced the tool to assist Wasl customers and tenants by providing immediate and easy access to a wealth of information relating to its extensive and growing array of retail offerings.

Wasl is constantly seeking new ways of enhancing the customer experience through the development of innovative solutions that provide quick access and a wealth of options. Wasl’s new Retail App does both, allowing customers to speedily and easily find out what is happening at Wasl retail facilities, take advantage of special offers, view forthcoming events taking place at Wasl malls and learn about the progress of the company’s new retail developments,” said Zainab Mohammed, CEO Property Management and Marketing , Wasl.

Wasl's new Retail App, which is available for both iOS and Android devices, enables users to search for a store by name, category or any Wasl.  They can view its description, opening times and contact information on the screen. Once viewed, the outlet can be stored under a ‘favourites’ option for future ease of access.

The Wasl Retail App holds details of every store at the company’s existing malls, which include Wasl squareWasl vitaWasl district and Wasl trio, as well as those scheduled to open at its under-development dar Wasl mall. The tool provides directions to the malls and provides handy information about nearby landmarks and facilities, such as RTA Metro stations and ATMs. Other useful functions include a currency exchange, tip calculator, size convertor, and parking locator.

Wasl has introduced its new Retail App to support its burgeoning portfolio of retail offerings. The organisation is committed to growing the retail aspect of its operations by introducing new outlets to specific areas in Dubai. Its projects offer a diverse retail mix based on consumer demand, evaluated from the extensive research it undertakes for each of its projects. The company adopts a stringent process in choosing retailers that fit with the company’s vision of providing the very best experiences.

Wasl says its new Retail App also supports the Dubai government’s move into the digital age, with the retail sector being one of the most important industries in the emirate needing to adopt the latest technologies.

Wasl is dedicated to supporting the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to transform Dubai into a Smart City which links smart devices to vital services. As we move ever closer towards Expo 2020, it will be services such as retail that will help underpin Dubai’s growth, so it is vital that we are up to speed with the latest applications,” added Zainab Mohammed.
